Candela is premium ecological development in the jungle of Tulum designed by the acclaimed Guadalajara-based studio, Macías Peredo. The name means candle in Spanish and it is also a scientific measurement of luminosity, which recalls Tulum’s past as a lighthouse. The abstract icon references these themes, as well as the Mayan arch. Applications included naming, brand identity, web design, catalogue and a greeting box with a bottle of Barro de Cobre mezcal.
